Msquare solar panels – HQST Solar Panel

Msquare Energy Pty Ltd has a long and illustrious history.

Msquare began operations in Australia in 2019, first branding a solar panel made by a Chinese manufacturer. The Clean Energy Council co-licensed (Msquare and Chinese Manufacturers) the solar panels, which were sold in Australia.

Solar panels made in China were removed from the Clean Energy Council’s approved product list in 2021, and they are no longer marketed in Australia. This cleared the way for Msquare’s 350W solar panel, as well as future Australian-made product lines. TÜV has verified Msquare’s goods as Australian-made and tested them to IEC standards.

Msquare’s Australian manufacturing site is in Girraween, Western Sydney, and has a capacity of 300MW per year. Msquare Energy has informed Solar Choice that they intend to build a 500MW facility near Bathurst, New South Wales. Msqaure solar panels are available for purchase in Australia through channel partner MMEM Greentech, which owns TLE Electrical.

Msquare panels have been de-listed from the CEC approved product list, which means they will no longer be eligible for the STC refund in Australia, as reported by One Step Off The Grid on 31.03.22.

What is the difference between a Bloomberg Tier 1 Solar Panel and a Bloomberg Tier 2 Solar Panel?

Bloomberg’s infamous tier 1 designation is in no way indicative of the quality of solar panels. It’s just an assessment of the manufacturer’s bankability based on publicly available financial data. If the company is a significant, well-known manufacturer, this should offer you an indication.

The Bloomberg Tier 1 list does not include Msquare Solar Panels.

The complete list of Bloomberg Tier 1 Solar Panels may be found here.

What is the top performer at PV Evolution Labs?

PV Evolution Labs independently tests solar panel dependability with the help of DNV GL. The tests are completely voluntary, with solar panel producers paying to take part. This testing procedure is well-known around the world, and it accurately reflects the solar panel’s performance.

Msquare Solar Panels is not presently listed among the PV Top Performers. We expect to see them in future rounds of testing as a new company in the coming years.

Why is it vital to have an office in Australia?

Most solar panel manufacturers who enter the Australian market focus on setting up distribution channels first, then on customer service. As a result, many disgruntled consumers are attempting to contact Chinese headquarters in order to claim their 10-year product warranty.

Relying on your solar installer isn’t always a good idea, as many residential solar installers (including the big ones) have gone out of business before the systems they install have even been installed.

Msquare is an Australian company (ABN 52 632 143 812) that manufactures its products at its headquarters in Western Sydney.

Points of Distinction for Msquare Solar Panels

What distinguishes Msquare’s solar panels from those available elsewhere?

Solar panels built in Australia

Msquare’s key point of differentiation is that all of its items are made in Australia. Along with Tindo in South Australia, they are now the second firm producing Australian-made solar panels.

Msquare’s solar panels are built in a production plant in Western Sydney. Many of the component parts are imported from outside China, according to Msquare, although many of them, including the solar cells, is not Chinese.

Product and performance warranties are available for a period of 25 years.

The majority of solar panels supplied in Australia come with a product guarantee of 10 to 15 years, which covers any manufacturing flaws. Msquare’s solar panels come with a 25-year product warranty, indicating that they are willing to stand behind their product’s high quality.

Msquare’s solar panels also come with a performance warranty, which ensures that a solar panel will produce a specific quantity of energy under normal conditions while accounting for a predetermined deterioration rate. Msquare, like the rest of the market, gives a 25-year performance warranty, however, its panels are guaranteed to decline at a rate of 0.5 percent per year after the first year, which is slightly higher than the industry standard of 0.7 percent per year.

Msquare MSEA-350W-MH60 solar panel

The Clean Energy Council in Australia has approved a number of Msquare Energy panels. Currently, they only make a 350W solar panel (MSEA-350W-MH60), but they hope to make other types later this year.

The MSEA series uses half-cut solar cells, which means that each cell is divided in half, retaining the power output while lowering the electrical resistance. The cells are mono-crystalline and have a maximum efficiency of 20.50 percent, which is higher than typical.

Because the panels are 1m x 1.69m, they can be used in residential settings with tighter screw lines.

In 2021, Msquare plans to debut its Kangaroo series, which will have a higher cell efficiency than the MSEA series.
