Q Cells Solar Panels – Jackery Solar Panels
Hanwha Q Cells Overview – Company History
Q-CELLS was created in Germany in 1999, and since 2001, it has been making solar silicon cells and, more recently, solar panels. In 2005, the company went public on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Q-CELLs incurred large losses in 2011 after a series of acquisitions and joint ventures and eventually filed for insolvency in 2012. Late in 2012, Hanwha Group bought the assets of the insolvent Q-CELLS and launched the Hanwha Q Cells brand. Hanwha Q Cells was combined with another Hanwha Group subsidiary, Hanwha SolarOne, in 2014, and the resulting firm was listed on the NASDAQ from 2014 to 2019. It is currently a Hanwha Group private subsidiary.
In contrast to other manufacturers, Hanwha Q Cells solely employs solar cells from its own production to ensure quality and match their high requirements. Despite the fact that panels were originally manufactured in Germany, production has relocated to Malaysia, China, and South Korea. Q Cells shipped 8.3GW of solar modules in 2019, accounting for 9GW of total production volume.

What is the difference between a Bloomberg Tier 1 Solar Panel and a Bloomberg Tier 2 Solar Panel?
Bloomberg’s infamous tier 1 designation is in no way indicative of the quality of solar panels. It’s just an assessment of the manufacturer’s bankability based on publicly available financial data. If the company is a significant, well-known manufacturer, this should offer you an indication.
Bloomberg Tier 1 has Q Cells Solar Panels. The complete list of Bloomberg Tier 1 Solar Panels may be found here.
What is the top performer at PV Evolution Labs?
PV Evolution Labs independently tests solar panel dependability with the help of DNV GL. The tests are completely voluntary, with solar panel producers paying to take part. This testing procedure is well-known around the world, and it accurately reflects the solar panel’s performance.
Q Cells Solar Panels are currently ranked among the top performers in five of the six annual tests conducted by PV Evolution Labs.

Why is it important to have an office in Australia?
Most solar panel manufacturers who enter the Australian market focus on setting up distribution channels first, then on customer service. As a result, many disgruntled consumers are attempting to contact Chinese headquarters in order to claim their 10-year product warranty.
Relying on your solar installation isn’t always a good idea, as over 700 home solar installers (including the big ones) have gone out of business since 2011.
Q Cells currently has a location in North Sydney, New South Wales.

In Australia, Q Cells currently offers a variety of panels, the most popular of which is the premium Q.Peak and Q.Maxx monocrystalline panels, which can provide the best efficiency, especially for those with limited roof space.
Q.MAXX is a range of products by Q.MAXX.
The Q.MAXX is a lower-cost option from Q Cells, offering 120 half-cut cell solar panels with a maximum power of 360W and a 12-year product warranty. This series employs next-generation Mono PERC half-cut solar cells with 12 busbars per cell, resulting in a 20.1 percent efficiency. Additionally, for residences with visible roof space, these black panels are aesthetically pleasant. After the first year, the solar panels decline at 0.54 percent, which is better than most of their competitors (usually 0.7 percent) and is guaranteed under their 25-year performance warranty.
In Australia, there are a variety of solar panels to choose from.

The latest Q.PEAK DUO is a step up in technical specifications from the Q.MAXX, and it also comes with a 25-year performance warranty, which is unheard of in the industry. They also use the Q Cells-branded Q.ANTUM DUO technology, which aims to boost each cell’s power output through in-house developed advancements. After the first year, this technique achieves a high-efficiency rating of up to 20.2 percent and a low deterioration rate of 0.54 percent.

Australian conditions were used to test the product.
Q Cells not only conducts thorough testing in the lab but also in the field. Q Cells is one of the few manufacturers in Australia that performs cyclone testing. Since 2012, Q Cells modules have been deployed at The Desert Knowledge Australia Solar Centre (DKASC), a facility for solar modules working in Alice Springs’ dry weather conditions and displaying their performance on the internet for demonstration.
The efficiency of Q Cells
The ability of cells to convert solar energy into electricity is referred to as solar panel efficiency. The better the panel’s efficiency, the more power the solar panel produces. As a result, a higher panel efficiency will be one of the most important factors in determining the quality. For each country, the efficiency of Q Cells modules will be determined by distinct types. The efficiency of the available product line in Australia ranges from 17.1 percent to 20.1 percent. Most common panels have an efficiency of roughly 19 percent or more, putting them on the cutting edge of the industry.
