How do I find more information on decorating an entire city with lights, banners, etc?
Are there exterior decorating companies, or…? Any names for the types of companies that do this kind of work that I could search for or something would be great. Or perhaps I can handle this myself (with a lot of other helping hands). I particularly need to light a bunch of street trees and hang banners, but what am I going to do, buy solar powered christmas lights and that’s that?

No, first of all, you need to contact city hall, because you will need permission for all this. If you were in contact with city hall already, you would not be asking these basic questions.
