Are regular & solar rechargeable batteries the same? Can both be used in solar garden lights?

Can either one be used for use with solar garden lights?

Any rechargeable battery will work if its the right size. A regular battery will not work it must be rechargeable. You can buy the batteries at any hardware store or on line at ebay.
