Go with a normal halogen flood light with motion detector.

I can not remember the brand name but I got it from radio shack about 10 years ago. I am sure it was a radio shack brand and it is still working fine. However it seems to be dim in the morning hours now. I think it is about worn out but the light is the same bulb and I have it in my open car port I just put the solar panel flat on the flat roof. Then I run the cord inside to the beam and screwed the light to the side of the beam. It is dirty and dusty but works great and is very bright about like a back up light on a car, well not in the morning now.

I hope I was helpful and I hope they still have them and have not figured out how to make them only last a year like all the other products out there.
