<p>my question is that if other planets are at an angle.. and are further than the moon.. then why isnt the temperature cooler there..<br />

<p>If there is no asolute sun light it doesnt matter how far it is from Sun. You have to note that Moon is not active so it does not have heat from the its own body.  So unexposed (to sun) locations get colder</p>

<br />don k is right.  except solar thermal panels absorb heat to, of course, to heat water.  to even think that solar panels heat up so much to attribute to global warming has to be the most idoitic, clueless question i have ever read.  we are all dumber to have read it.  does your hot breath cause global warming?  It gets hot under your arm pits and behind your legs, must be melting ice bergs with that body heat, right?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This question popped up in a discussion with a coworker regarding the seasons.  As I recall, the angular inclination is approx 13 degrees relative to the Earth’s solar orbital plane, I believe; I’m not certain of this, though.  Additionally, I tend to believe that the angle is somewhat constant.</p>
<p>My coworker disagrees, though.  He accounts for the seasons by believing the pitch/angle varies throughout the year.  But I asked, what phenomenon occurs that is great enough to pitch the Earth up to 13° (or whatever the angle is) in one direction, reverse direction, and then pitch it 13° in the opposite direction?  The force required to do this would be tremendous.</p>
<p>I contend that the angle is constant.  When the North pole is pitched toward the Sun, the northern hemisphere has its warmer months.  At the opposite end of the Earth’s orbit about the sun, the North pole would be pitched away from the Sun, thus the colder months.</p>
<p>Can anyone shine some light on this topic?  Thanks for your help.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alright, this was just a random question that popped into my head. Let&#8217;s say you have a long, LONG pole, that stretches from Earth to Neptune. Let&#8217;s also say that the pole is made out of diamond, and so is one big macromolecular structure, incompressible.</p>
<p>Say I have a Neptunian friend who wants to know whenever Man U scores a goal in the UEFA Champions League 2050, played on Earth. But it would take minutes before the information was transmitted to him via TV/radio, because information can only travel at the speed of light. So we rig this special long pole and connect it from my house to his house, across the solar system. We agree that we would both hold each end, and when Man U scored, I would push the pole, using it to give him a nudge, so he&#8217;d know.</p>
<p>I watch the match, and when Man U scores, I push the pole. Now, doesn&#8217;t he feel the nudge immediately? What&#8217;s the flaw with this reasoning that contradicts the special theory of relativity?<br />
<br />the problem is, it&#8217;s not  &quot;incompressible&quot;.<br />
nothing is.<br />
some things are almost so, to the degree that it seems to be.<br />
but his sound wave analysis is correct.</p>
<p>Hmmmm, i wonder what the speed of sound is in diamond?</p>

I noticed that each tower that records and repeats how fast you are going uses a solar panel at the top. I am a huge fan of being green! When I first saw these, I was jumping in my car!<br />
     From pictures on the internet I have seen street light poles also powered by solar panels. How can I ask Chandler to do this too? If I were to write a letter requesting them do you think it would follow through? Thanks- 10 points for best answer!<br />
<br />Radar guns need a 10 watt solar panel with a couple of D size batteries.  A street light need a 100 watt panel and a 100 amp -hr battery.  the radar system costs $100 and returns $1000 per week.  A solar light costs $2000 and saves $50 per year.  so invest $2,000,000 to save $50,000, a year is not worth it.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s a few things to keep in mind:</p>
<p>1) Keep your industry, your clients/customers, your advertising plan in mind. </p>
<p>2) The more unique &amp; distinctive a name, the higher the chances that the name is legally available for use. And the higher the chances of obtaining the trademark.</p>
<p>3) Think of your business as having a personality. What kind of image do you want your business to portray? </p>
<p>Specific brainstorming tips:</p>
<p>Think about what you want but more importantly, think about what you DON&#8217;T want. If you don&#8217;t want a 3-word name, don&#8217;t bother with those. If you don&#8217;t want non-English words, don&#8217;t bother with those &amp; so on and so forth.</p>
<p>What are the &quot;types&quot; of names you like? Think about words in their simple forms, e.g. adjectives, Latin roots, mythological names, etc. Compile a listing of the types &amp; then seek out resources, such as books or sites, which specialize in those types.</p>

<p>Only comprehensive research will tell you if the name is truly available. But, these links are free &amp; a great place to start, so I&#8217;d try them out first. This entails searching the pending &amp; registered Federal and State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files. Then, if clear, you can decide if you would like to file for a Federal or a State trademark. </p>
