I think that if you want a lightsworn deck, you have to stick to lightsworn and nothing else. Take out all your dark cards. That means crush card virus also. You may need more cards, because lightsworn decks deck out if the duel takes too long. Here’s my decklist:

You should take out all synchros, also take out all dark monsters in your side deck. You could put royal decree but you’d have to take out a lot of traps.

ps- plz don’t suggest Crush card virus

2 x shining angels, 1 x shallow grave and 1 gold sarcophagus…. this will help you special summon the lightsworns easier, resurrect one in case of emergency and then search your deck for the one card needed to destroy your opponent with the sarcophagus’s effect. Hope this helps.

The deck looks as good as it is going to get. One minor exception, Plaguespreader Zombie is Limited. Take him out and add Crush. Card of Safe Return is also Limited, so I’d suggest replacing it with Gold Sarcophagus. Dude? Do you even pay attention to the Banned List? lol. I’m just realizing more cards as I type this. Goyo is Limited. I’d suggest adding 2 Dark Strike Fighter. Also maybe take out either 1 Thought Ruler or 1 Black Rose and add a Blackwing Armor Master for the Blackwing matchup. Other than that, I think it should be good from here. Also, for future reference, it is called a Lightsworn deck. Maybe that was a typo on your part, but figured I’d tell ya. Another thing, it is called Synchro Cat, not Cat Synchro. Figured you might wanna know that.

I would side heavily against black wings and anti meta decks.

For blackwings a few icarus attacks will do them good because you can tribute your opponents winged beast monsters also this works well against bestiari and gyzarus!

well crush card is a terrible card to have in a lightsworn deck. I can guarantee you that it will be more of a dead draw than help. plaugespreader is a good card to have, nut 2 jain is kind of over kill. Drop her down to 1. In her place add a phantom of chaos, this card can be amazing in tight situations. 2 ryko overkill, only use 1. Instead of using MST is your main deck you should use giant trunade, just a little FF, it’s alot easier on you. Your trap set up is terrible… Use 2 threatening roar and 2 beakoning light as you dont want a big backfield with this deck. and thats about it, those are the changes i would make and it will save you from having to get CCV.

I really would put a set of solemn and 2 phoenix wind blast to take out 1 reincarnation and 2 decrees, i think they are waste of space even though you got ok chance of getting at least one, but if its destroyed…its not worth the risk of getting crashed or bottomlessed or whatever. especially against tele-dad..I mean personally, even when I run GB, I add crush card, and thats the worst thing that can happen to your deck. thats why solemns are there to protect you.

adding two baconing light may also help?

and with your deck, you can even add 1 or 2 copies of DAD.

i would like to know what deck to use in the regionals althought my lightsworn deck is not finished i would not be able to improve it in time
